Geofabric now available as NEII web data service
The Geofabric is a digital database of surface and ground water features, which registers the spatial relationship between important hydrologic features. It is comprised of six product datasets.

NEII Conformance Framework released
We are pleased to announce the release of the NEII Conformance Framework Version 1.0. The framework has been developed to communicate the requirements of a participating partner in the NEII as a physical node and to support self assessment by partners wishing to contribute to the NEII.

National Principles for Environmental Information available
The National Principles for Environmental Information were released in January 2016 by the Australian Government Environmental Information Advisory Group to provide guidance to Australian government data custodians in the form of ten principles on how best to make data and information more discoverable, accessible and re-usable.
